Birchwood BMW is hiring a Professional Intern – Sales Assistant for the summer
2024 season. This position requires a self-motivated, energetic, and
goal-driven individual to provide direct support to one of Birchwood’s most
dynamic sales teams. In this role, the Professional Intern - will develop
essential skills needed to become a professional, business-minded
individual. This internship aims to identify professional
individuals, teach them the skills needed for a role in Sales, and position the
individual for an actual Product Advisor position the next summer or upon
graduation. Upon graduation, the selected individual would have a
launch pad for future Managerial positions within Birchwood.
For over 25 years, Professional Interns have been an integral part of Birchwood. The program has evolved to include an immersive experience that focuses on personal and professional development. It is designed to create a network of empowered students who gain valuable skills while supporting Birchwood’s purpose. Our internship includes professional development workshops, unique social events, and an opportunity to network with our executive team.

Responsibilities:
• Support a list of prospective
clients, all while adhering to the highest level of integrity by utilizing
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
• Contact prospective clients through warm calling, email lists, showroom
traffic, and advertising streams including Social Media
• Work closely with a dedicated mentor and product Advisor to provide exceptional
customer service
• Assist the Product Advisor to meet and exceed sales and performance goals
• Provide accurate and consistent weekly and monthly performance reports
Qualifications & Details:
· An entrepreneurial spirit and a
desire to succeed
· Self-motivation and a passion for
customer service
· Sensitivity toward customers and a
strong interest in exceeding their expectations
· Respect, honesty, and integrity
· 1-3 years in a customer-focused
role is an asset but not required
· A valid class 5 driver’s license
and reliable transportation to work is required.
· Must be available to work from the
dealership
