Overview
The Junior Application
Developer for TSI Dynamics is responsible for developing and maintaining
software applications which support the dealerships, collision centres and
overall Birchwood Automotive Group in achieving their objectives of ensuring
customer satisfaction, growing revenue and achieving profit targets.
Professional Interns
have been an integral part of Birchwood for over 25 years. The professional
intern program has evolved to include an immersive experience that focuses on
personal and professional development. Our program is designed to create a network
of empowered students who gain valuable skills while supporting Birchwood’s
purpose. Our internship includes professional development workshops, unique
social events, and an opportunity to network with our executive team.

Key Responsibilities:
● Work closely with
the Manager of Software Development to develop new and expand existing internal
development initiatives for the Birchwood retail operations.
● Monitoring
performance of software to provide fast query responses to front-end users.
● Diagnosing/troubleshooting internally
developed web software related problems, and perform preventive maintenance.
● Communicating
technical guidance and instructions to users on the use of our applications,
systems, and processes.
● Work on n-tier
applications deployed in a cloud infrastructure based on Amazon Web Services.
● Collaborate
within a dedicated team environment.
● Communicating effectively orally and
in writing and establishing cooperative working relationships with staff,
external clients and contractors.
Qualifications:
● An understanding of open-source web
technologies such as HTML, PHP, Laravel, LESS, Node.js, Vue.js, and Linux.
● Have a strong technical background,
good communication skills, and ability to solve unique and challenging software
problems.
● An understanding
of MySQL relational databases and the ability to diagnose/troubleshoot related
issues.
● Willing to work
remotely or in the office.
