Full-Time, TERM Summer Internship Position

Birchwood Hyundai is hiring a Professional Intern – Sales Assistant for the summer 2026 season.
This position requires a self-motivated, energetic, and goal-driven individual
to provide direct support to one of Birchwood’s most dynamic sales teams. In
this role, the Professional Intern - will develop essential skills needed to
become a professional, business-minded individual. This internship aims to
identify professional individuals, teach them the skills needed for a role in
Sales, and position the individual for an actual Product Advisor position the
next summer or upon graduation. Upon graduation, the selected individual would
have a launch pad for future positions within Birchwood.
Professional
Interns have been an integral part of Birchwood for over 25 years. The
professional intern program has evolved to include an immersive experience that
focuses on personal and professional development. Our program is designed to
create a network of empowered students who gain valuable skills while
supporting Birchwood’s purpose. Our internship includes professional
development workshops, unique social events, and an opportunity to network with
our executive team.

Responsibilities:

Support
a list of prospective clients, all while adhering to the highest level of
integrity by utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
·
Contact
prospective clients through warm calling, email lists, showroom traffic, and
advertising streams including social media
·
Work
closely with a dedicated mentor, Product Advisor to provide exceptional
customer service
·
Assist
the Product Advisor to meet and exceed sales and performance goals
·
Provide
accurate and consistent weekly and monthly performance reports
Qualifications

An

1-3
years in a customer-focused role is an asset but not required

A
valid class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation to work is required.

be available to work from the dealership
The
Professional Intern – Sales Assistant schedule: This full-time, term position will be Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm
