The Opportunity:

As an Account Manager, you will act as the primary marketing partner for a portfolio of Birchwood dealerships. You’ll work directly with General Managers, and senior leadership, helping translate business goals into integrated marketing plans that drive sales, service retention, and brand consistency.

You’ll own the planning, budgeting, execution, and performance analysis of dealership marketing—across digital, traditional, in-store, and experiential channels—while leveraging the scale and expertise of Birchwood’s centralized media team.


What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Strategic Partnership & Planning

  • Serve as the trusted marketing advisor and first point of contact for assigned dealerships
  • Lead annual and monthly marketing planning, aligning dealership objectives with group strategy
  • Recommend the right channel mix, messaging approach, and investment strategy—not just digital tactics

Budget Ownership & Performance Accountability

  • Manage and track dealer advertising budgets, ensuring spend aligns with approved plans and delivers ROI
  • Monitor performance across campaigns and channels, using data to optimize, adjust, and re-prioritize
  • Develop clear, actionable monthly performance reports tied to business outcomes—not vanity metrics

Execution Across All Facets of Marketing

  • Coordinate campaigns across:
    • Digital advertising (search, social, display, video)
    • Website initiatives and conversion optimization
    • Email and CRM-driven communications
    • In-store, on-lot, and local market activations
    • Brand and OEM-aligned initiatives
  • Work closely with internal creative, digital, and analytics teams to ensure high-quality execution

Insight, Optimization & Leadership

  • Analyze results, identify trends, and proactively bring new ideas and improvements forward
  • Translate manufacturer programs, inventory priorities, and local market conditions into compelling campaigns
  • Balance multiple dealerships while maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail


What We’re Looking For:

  • 1–5+ years experience in marketing, account management, or client services
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, timelines, and budgets
  • Experience across marketing strategy, execution, and reporting (not just campaign deployment)
  • Strong communication skills— confidently present recommendations and results
  • Experience in automotive, retail, or multi-location brands is an asset (but not required)
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
